At MEDICFX, we specialize in providing realistic and durable simulation appliances for the medical field. Our company was founded in 2016, in response to the growing demand for more realistic training tools. Our products are designed to help professionals and trainees focus on scenarios, without the need for abstract representations of the human form.
Our products are used by a variety of institutions, including sims labs, army and navy, first responders, accident and emergency departments, and in-house hospital training facilities. We are dedicated to providing high-quality products that add value and integrity to training programs.
Our FX studio is based in Auckland, New Zealand and is run by Nicole Heydenrijk and Yolanda Bartram, a mother-daughter team with over thirty years of experience in the SFX makeup industry. Our team of talented FX artists work full-time in our studio, creating bespoke products for film and TV, and we have even worked on the Lord of the Rings!
We are able to accommodate orders of all sizes, from small custom orders to bulk quantities. Our products are shipped internationally to countries such as the United States, Russia, Australia, China, Denmark, Portugal, The Netherlands, Canada, Taiwan, and Singapore. Additionally, we have distributors in Australasia, Europe, and Asia. Our parent company, BODYFX, has been operating since 2001 and specializes in creating FX for film and TV, as well as managing a retail shop for makeup products.
